Attaching Documents in Assessment Results

A CAB user may want to provide a document (or documents) as part of a response to an NCR or Comment. For best results it is recommended to attach the file directly to the NCR, rather than inserting the document in the response. 

You can do this by clicking the Attach File button after opening the NCR for editing. CAB users can attach documents to a list item by: 

  • Open the item for editing. 

  • In the Ribbon, click on the Attach File button highlighted in green (see below).  

    If you attempt to use the Attach File option highlighted in red the process will fail. 

  • Browse to the file you want to attach and click OK.

  • Once attached, the document will appear at the bottom of the form in the Attachments field. 

  • After attaching a file, it is recommended to immediately save the NCR.
