API Keys
The API Keys page lets you create a key to authenticate access to your certificate data over an API connection. This is useful for CABs that wish to upload and manage their certificate data over an API connection.
A list of existing API Keys will be displayed on this page.
Please note that API Keys will expire every twelve (12) months.
There are three controls at the top of the page:
Search: You can filter the existing keys to find a specific result if required.
Refresh: Force an update of the list of keys; useful if you are waiting for a key to be generated.
+ Add: Click this to create an API key.
A blade will slide out from the edge of the screen.
A unique key will be generated for you. You can then select the permissions to apply to the key, and click Save to create the key.
Permission | Description |
|---|---|
Write | Applications connected using the API key will be able to create new and modify existing certificate records on the register. |
You will receive a message stating that the key is being created.
You can edit or delete existing keys by clicking the ellipsis (⋮) and choosing the related action.
